Meet the Maker - Saturday 7 May from 11 amJoin Tom Gibson of Cornella Ridge Estate for the launch of the 2009 Cornella Ridge Estate Shiraz and be the first to try this wine he describes as having Deep purple hues, luscious full bodied fruit, 13.5% alcohol. Drinking well now and will cellar well for a good few years.
Also on taste will be the 2008 Shiraz Republic Heathcote Shiraz. Both wines are produced in small volumes from a single vineyard with a simple philosophy - traditional methods, low yields, hand picking - minimal intervention to turn good fruit into fine wine.

Tar & Roses is a collaboration between Victorias Don Lewis and Narelle King, who have been making wine together for many years at Michelton before starting Tar & Roses together in 2004.
Don & Narelle will join us in Store and will be showing the 2009 Pinot Grigio from Central Victoria and from Heathcote their 2006 Nebbiolo, 2007 Sangiovese, 2007 Tempranillo, 2009 Shiraz and also their 2006 Miro - made in Spain in the region of Priorat, not far from the Mediterranean coast, about 150 kilometres south-west of Barcelona.

Vinea Marson is on the eastern slopes of the Mount Camel Range. The first plantings in 2000 included Shiraz, Viognier, Sangiovese, Nebbiolo and Barbera. Enjoyment of good food and fine wine is part of the winemaker Mario Marsons Italian family tradition and his wines reflect this passion.

Mark was diagnosed with a rare from of leukaemia just after Emily was born only a year ago. On behalf of Marks wife Anna and Emily we are planning a fundraiser to help support Emily's future. We are very grateful to the members of Marks industry who have already lent their support for this event.
